Xenical is to treat people who are overweight or obese. This medicine works by targeting the absorption of dietary fat in your body rather than suppressing your appetite.

Dietary fats are large molecules that need to be broken down before they can be absorbed into the body. They are broken down by enzymes called lipases. That is, lipases play an important role in the digestion of dietary fat. When taken with a meal, Xenical interferes with the activity of these enzymes. This allows about 30% of the fat eaten in the meal to pass through the gut undigested. Therefore, your body cannot store these excess calories as fatty tissue or use them as a source of energy. This helps you to reduce your weight by burning up fat that you are already carrying, maintain your lower weight and minimise any weight regain. Losing even small amounts of weight and keeping it off produces additional health benefits for you, especially when you are at risk for other diseases such as heart disease and diabetes. Xenical can also help to improve risk factors, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and high blood sugar. If these are not treated, they could lead to other diseases such as hypertension and diabetes. Xenical should be taken in conjunction with a well-balanced calorie-controlled diet and other appropriate measures such as exercise.Active Ingredients:Xenical does not contain sucrose, gluten, tartrazine or any other azo dyes. To help you save money on your Xenical purchase, we'll look at the different types of weight loss medications, as well as the cost of different Xenical dosage forms, which are also available in the UK.

Orlistat

Orlistat is a medication used to help reduce fat absorption in the gut. It belongs to a class of drugs called lipase inhibitors. These drugs work by blocking the absorption of about one third of the fat consumed in a meal. The fat is then removed from the stomach and excreted in the stool. Orlistat is only available with a prescription and is generally considered to be a safe and effective weight loss medication.

The cost of Orlistat varies depending on the dosage form and the pharmacy. For example, the cost of Orlistat 120 tablets in the UK ranges between $120 for a supply of 30 tablets and $200 for a supply of 60 tablets. Similarly, the cost of Orlistat 60 tablets ranges between $80 and $100 for a supply of 60 tablets and $70 for a supply of 60 tablets.

Xenical

Xenical, also known as Alli or Xenical, is a prescription medication used to treat obesity. This is achieved through its ability to block the enzymes responsible for breaking down the fat in the gut. Xenical is typically prescribed in the form of a tablet, liquid, or injection. The recommended dosage is typically one 60-milligram capsule (60-mg) taken orally with a glass of water or other liquids. The cost of the medication can range between $150 to $200 for a supply of 60 tablets, depending on the location.

Xenical is not recommended for people with a history of gastrointestinal issues or those taking certain medications. It's also not recommended for those who have pre-existing conditions that might need to adjust the dosage or take additional medications. Additionally, it's important to note that Xenical should only be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional, and it's not recommended for people with a history of cardiovascular issues or those taking certain medications.
